Customer Reviews about Parkridge OB/GYN
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Three stars because the majority of the doctors there are wonderful and caring, but had to deduct a couple stars due to one (Bradshaw Graham) being one of the worst I have encountered. The wait times are pretty long but I have found they give you the time in the room once you get back there. I had several issues during a pregnancy and it really just depended who was on call for the type of treatment I got - if my doctor was then it was great but it was a gamble since obviously he couldn't be on call every time. Beautiful facility but they have no newborn nursery anymore - which I felt was punitive to mothers who have a c-section and can't even get out of bed to not have help with their infant. Overall, it has its ups and downs, you have to decide where is the best place for you!June 02, 2017by Jane Mover
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I relocated here from a different state in my second trimester. I chose this practice based off instincts. I fear I didn't make the best choice. I'm having my third child and had one in 2016. I have gestational diabetes which I had with my last pregnancy. Management has been such a hassle here in SC compared to the state from which I've relocated. Here I feel the doctors act as dictators and do not take my wishes/opinions into account or they simply just don't care. I'm always referred to as "non-compliant". I have high standards and feel that any relationship between physician and patient should be one of mutual understanding and respect. We don't always have to agree but there should be a common meeting ground. Physicians need to be aware that not everyone fits into a bubble regardless of what statistics say. I have left the majority of my appointments more stressed and overwhelmed than when I arrived simply based off the treatment from the physician (whom I won't name). I've contemplated changing practices yet again but I unfortunately am too far in this pregnancy to only transfer and still be unhappy. I am trying really hard to get along with the Parkridge group. I am constantly threatened to "be released from the group" because I do not agree with the plan of care. Quite frankly if it were earlier in my pregnancy they wouldn't have to release me as I would leave myself. On the flip side, I gave them two stars because they do have acceptable wait times (at least from my exposure thus far) and their office staff has been pleasant. The facility is also beautiful (I'm sure because it's new). My best advice is to do your research and INTERVIEW physicians before choosing them. Everyone won't be a great fit for you and your needs.December 08, 2016by Nia Wiley
